Actually the 1988, left the bottle at dinner. Vinified by Bouchard Pere et Fils. Voluptuous aroma of overripe berry, rotting flowers, cheese rind, animal musk and barnyard that unfortunately blew off quickly. If this wine were a song it would be "Dead Flowers" by the Stones. That's a compliment. Quite structured on the palate, serious and masculine stuff. Wild strawberry, black cherry, spice, leather, mothballs. Beefy, silky. Killer.
