The nose on this is simply incredible. Exotic spiced plums with a strong black pepper note. Full bodied and showing the vintage, but in all the best ways. The plum & dark berry notes dance across the palate with silky, textured tannins which add haunting complexity. Absolutely beautiful.

A lovely nose laden with garrigue, leather, sour red fruit and then on the palate a gorgeous, savory wine. This is delicious. After the 01's a much clearer, brighter and more profound wine. Lovely. Avoids the pitfalls of a lot of 07's, the heat and alcohol just right. Very in place.
