Weekly Wednesday Wine Committee lunch...always such a treat to attend. This week, Dan hosted. 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds and 1 dessert wine. All blind as usual. I guessed late 80s/early 90s port. A bit surprised this was an ‘85...so incredibly young. Color was still quite dark. Nose and palate were heavy on cinnamon-sugar cashew notes, cocoa and nutmeg.
