Tasted all three FUTO red wines - then had a treat and tasted first SauvignonBlanc Tom made - 100 cases - begged for a case but got a three pack lol - all wines were stunning - tasted 2016s and 2012s reds - SB was a 19 vintage - the 5500 is not usually my favorite FUTO - usually the Oakville takes that prize but this time the 5500 was stunning - fruit forward with a velvet hammer for a palette- nose was insanely aromatic

2012,2013,2014,2015 5500 SLD and 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 OV/SL. They were all superb. Maybe my favorite of all was the 2013 5500, but each was gorgeous in its own right. Just lovely wines and impossible to go wrong with any of them.

This is an incredible Stags Leap District Cabernet. Gorgeous red fruit and a velvety texture. Really fans out on the palate.
