Beautiful Sangiovese (with som Merlot). Elegant and refined, very pure and in a sense “naked”. Way less extravagant and extracted than previous vintages. I like it a lot! Tuscany needs more versions like this.

this is an interesting wine. picked up because JS rating of 95, at First Bottle , $25. great nose but the entry was okay. nothing unusual for a sangiovese, but just not the finish i was expecting for the high rating. opened up a bit and got better. Will come back to this after a few months.
