Bright, full ruby-red. Highly complex, thoroughly ripe scents of black raspberry, cassis, dark plum, tar, tobacco, mocha and minerals, lifted by a violet topnote. Wonderfully suave and fine-grained but still quite youthful, spreading out to coat the palate without leaving any undue impression of weight. Shows a distinct black cherry medicinal reserve. This very smooth wine finishes with a broad dusting of ripe tannins and steadily building length. Approachable now owing to its successfully integrated acidity and tannins, but I'd rather give this beauty a bit more time in the cellar. (Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, July 2019)

Last Friday was our normal 4th Friday happy hour at the storage facility, but since this month had 5 Fridays, why not keep the party going?! Such a baby! Still needs time in the bottle. Decanting helps, but only so much. Like a young Bordeaux, this can go an easy 20+ yrs from now. Very dark and heavy in the glass. Tight. Blackberries, black currant, cassis, cedar, olive oil, herbs. Heavy on the palate as it's working its way to integrating fully. Hold!

Spectacular wine with a lot of life ahead but irresistible now.

First time drinking it. Decanted 2 hours prior and would recommend doing so. Beautifully balanced and delicious. #NapaValley

This was wine from my birthday this week. One of the most balanced and layered Napa Cabs I have had in a long time.

Touch vitamin-y in nose; very nice texture, maybe touch hot on finish.

Didn't do it for me, most likely because of the company in the blind tasting. I'd rather have a one on one with this wine. It of course was smothered, it's a soft polite wine that is lean, it got trampled by the bulls in this race.
