Still very bright. Slightly tropical (pineapple, papaya) then fresh lemon. Tight and coiled with great minerality but young and a wonderful future

Caramel, vanilla, spice, a touch of coconut and smoke. Still very elegant and balanced.

This is the best white wine I’ve ever had. So poised, layers of complexity, incredible balance

2005 vintage. In Reims with Stan, Olivier and Jay. Medium lemon hue. Toasty, citrus, stone fruit, depth of concentration. Complex. On the palate, medium plus acidity and medium body and alcohol. This wine packs a punch of concentration and has a very long, attractive finish. I was concerned it was going to be too young, but it was showing very well. Potentially at the start of it's drinking window with many years to go. Drink now until 2030.
