Tasted blind. Light to medium canary gold color. Notes of tangerine, lemon curd, wet stone, tan spice, ginger, hazelnut. Great weight. Tasted blind, we all couldn't pick out the Chablis characteristics, although we're told this had been open for 6 hours. After the reveal, you could discern the terrior. With more air, it softened and developed more honey characteristics. Best sip was the last, like so many Raveneau bottles we've had.

Great minerality and cut, still quite nice acid, rich fruit but undeniably Chablis on the palate, another wonderful bottle of older Raveneau Grand Cru Chablis!!

Lovely mature soft butterscotch and mineral aromas and flavors, still has very fine acidity, great balance, wonderful length, such a fine old Chablis!!!
