Always a treat. Dead on perfect bottle, amazingly fresh for nearly two decades of age. Warm, beguiling aromas of spice, roasted nuts, dried fruit; palate absolutely rips with citrus and stone topnote with coconut, brown butter, baked apples and apricot. Complete wine and absolutely delicious

2000 bottle drunk in 2019. The wine has great powerful aromas, intricate woody and flowery notes but aggressive on the palate, too high acidity and fades fast when the temperature rises.

Disappointed. Seems over the hill. First whiff and sip were great, but deteriorated from there with a lot of sentiment. Lacked finesse and fruit, and had a short finish. Not sure what to make of this bottle.
