There’s a silky braiding texture on this wine. Silky fine tannins from the french oak not doubt. An outstanding wine.

One of the greatest Chilenean cab's. An elegant middle age man aging gracefully

Another Wednesday Wine Committee for the books, this one in honor of a former WWC member, with the wines donates from his cellar by his family. A wonderful tribute. Wines tasted blind as usual. Wow. I’ve only had this once or twice and this reminded me how enjoyable it was. Slightly extracted with a good amount of black pepper on the finish. Mainly red and black fruit dominant at this point, with a hefty mid palate showing plum and dates. I was between Bordeaux from a warm year of CdP.

I’m glad I got hold of a case. After a 2 hour decant this stuff is outstanding.

Solid and nicely made wine that was better than our last bottle. It's a style thing but to me this wine does not live up to all the hype. Good not great.

Blend of leather and smoke, cardamon and nutmeg spices, rich mouthfeel, hint of vanilla aftertaste, one of the most delicious Cabs we’ve had, paired perfectly with Rib Eye.

Incredible Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon from 2005. Dark cherries and a splash of leather and pepper. Great body and mouth feel. With filets topped with blue cheese, baked potatoes and grilled asparagus. Don Melchor. Chilean Cab. Fantastic.
