Last had this nearly 5 years ago, and certainly in a better place now - but still could go longer, even with a 3 hour decant. At first too tight, too dense, too much oak…but with this time this reveals to a more classic Bordeaux. Wonderful with some beautiful lamb chops with a green olive gremolata.

A crash course in how to spoil great raw material with excessive extraction and poorly handled wood.

This still needs more time. Red fruits, licorice, earth, mineral and cigar box.

Decanted for 3 hours based on other notes. This is nice but not incredible by any means. Certainly know it's a well made Bordeaux from a good vintage, but was hoping for more.

Love this wine. This was a mag and took its time opening up, but 4-5 hours in it was killer!!!
