This is still gorgeous and fresh. A lovely savory nose and palate. A whiff of band aid and deep raspberry. Some iodine, leather, dried herbs and an animal depth and salinity. Really spectacular stuff. So nice to not have sweetness and oak but a gorgeous long wine.

Reddish amber. Sensual nose. Notes of black cherry, Cuban cigar, cranberry, forest floor, some Mediterranean herbs and a little bit of of mint. Incredibly balanced in the mouth. Complex, tannins are soft. Killer juice. 7 hours in this was singing. In a great drinking window with no signs of fading.
