Despite its age, this was a very powerful, perhaps overpowering, Bordeaux. This wine still needs a lot of air. This is a wine that you can drink only with steak, but it went perfectly with our grilled steaks. The wine will last in the bottle for years to come. Classic right-bank Bordeaux with intense Merlot flavor to start, and contrasting Cabernet to finish. A great buy.
