Lovely saint Emilion from the underrated 2002 vintage. Proving again that 2002 has some lovely surprises. Deep garnet color, lovely nose full of black Current, coffee, tobacco, chocolate, wet soil, black cherries, plums, mushrooms and minerals, full body, round , smooth, with firm tannins and spectacular acidity, long delicious chewy finish. Matured beautifully. My score 90, drink to 2022, perhaps longer. Represents a great value !
