Thanks @Jim Westby for packing this claret for our trip to Yosemite. We grilled up Fred Steak to pair with it, and this powerful, virile '93 had the power and cut for the rich, flavor y tri-tip. This wine has so much going for it- you have to wonder if they added some of another more famous vintage!

Довольно тельное с высокой кислотностью и мягкими, бархатистыми танинами. Вкус немного отстаёт от аромата в насыщенности, послевкусие не назовёшь продолжительным. Тем не менее, отличное вино, особенно если учесть, что винтаж был не самым удачным для Бордо.

This was a surprise. A super second but could easily be a first growth this wine was under rated by critics. Silky almost sweet tannins dominant this wine packet with classic flavors and unreal depth. For a 23 year old wine this was a baby.
