Ruby with amber rims. Nice nose of black fruit and smoked meat but quiet and not opulent. Tannins integrated and the structure is nice. Nice finish. That's what this is. Nice.

Really nice wine but doesn't quite have the stuffing or sexy opulence of my favorite vintages of this great wine like '98 or '00. Still a treat and drinking great with no harsh tannins at all.
