Still young-tobacco-gravelly dark fruit. Letting it air for 30 minutes after initial taste at least.

Killer aromatics! Savory. Graphite, gravel, crunchy cranberry with blackberries and tar. Very perfumed. Youthful and tannic profile. Cherry cordial and red licorice toward the front palate, turning more dusty and cedar driven toward the finish with currant and underripe black cherries. Hold.

Decanted and allowed to open over a couple of hours. This wine blossomed with deep, dark fruit, gravel, graphite. Bright acidity but soft lingering tannins. Nice long finish. Have a couple more bottles that I will give another 3-5 years

Colt 45 works every time. Remember those commercials? https://youtu.be/0pK5HmuCMBM I do. Grand puy Lacoste is my go to Bordeaux. It never disappoints, this one is still a little young but a great pauillac with graphic , dark fruit and just starting to show more complexity. The 2012 is on the market for $50 probably one of the better Cabernet values in the market especially given Napa prices recently. As for this 05, drink now or over the next 20 years

Delicious and powerful wine, gravel and dark cassis, gripping chewy tannin. Muscular and very youthful. Will be interesting to check back in on.

Needs a little more time but enjoyable with a few hours of air.
