Intense Merlot-based Bordeaux. Excellent but so strong it can only be consumed with steak. Licorice, black currant, brooding plum flavors. An excellent wine but not subtle or complex. At $36 a great value.

Sorry for the stock picture, bottle gone too fast in the recycle bin. Muted nose to start, the wine has a slight modern feel to it, light wood treatment obviously, opens up nicely though with a great texture and feel of tannins, nice length. 89-90 Un nez muet au départ avec un vin plus moderne, touche boisée mais qui s’ouvre par contre très bien et surtout une superbe texture de tannins en bouche, très bon 89-90
