2008 Chateau Gloria from Medoc on the Left Bank. Blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot. Very nice deep purple/garnet in the glass. Black fruit and cassis, joined by layers of cedar, liquorice and tobacco on the palate. This is a rich, ripe full bodied wine with well integrated tannins that deliver a nice finish. Could easily last another 10 years. Nice bottle of Bordeaux for about $50.
