This is a lovely Pauillac from the hot 2003 vintage. Very modern in style. Lovely deep red color, ripe nose full red cherries, ripe plums, leather, coffee, earthiness and mushrooms, full body with nice acidity, complex and rich, lovely big delicious finish. My score 89, drink now.

WOW! I haven’t had this wine for many years. The tertiary aromatics are amazing - mushroom, forest floor, smoke, charcoal, leather and cedar around a bouquet of blackberry and dark fruit. A real joy !

Still young. Tannins are a bit strong. Needs a couple hours to open up. Some eucalyptus on the nose but it burns off. Nicely balanced. Must is a little heavy.
