Souring aromas here; just awesome. Dark cherries and plums, spice, wet stone, mineral and dark chocolate frame an elegant and beautifully balanced wine, worthy of its pedigree name. Needless to say, no magician on planet Earth can foster true greatness in vintages like this BUT only enviable estates are able to bottle THIS given the circumstances. It fails to broadening its mid-palate and tannins are already integrated, better love sooner than later. Bought on release. Note to self; one legendary vintage from here, please.

Seamless comes to mind. It's on the lighter side but its proportions are perfect. Red berries, plums and perfume soar from the glass; we've talking happy nostrils here. On the sexy and smooth palate, it's the quality of tannins which impresses the most. Pure class, pure silk.

Can see the ripeness of the vintage, still young and fresh, think this can go another 10+. What a night tasting when the ausone isn't the star. This was so different compared to other wines tasted.
