Happy Birthday Neal! Big...bold...there’s depth that intrigues and the 15.2% is well hidden...but gosh...it’s a bit clunky. I dunno if it’s worth the tariff? Drank next to a 2014 Adaptation which was about its equal.

Excellent display of Howell mountain grapes by quality producer. Dark blackberry notes upfront and nicely balanced. Drinks well out of the gate without decanting.

A very well made wine that is very much a hedonist's dream. Very extracted and structured, but outclassed by its company on this day. I prefer Odette to this though.

Liquid chocolate covered dark cherries in the glass. A beautiful Howell Mountain Cabernet with lots of depth and structure. The fruit comes thru front and center but the acidity is fantastic. The tannins are there but are very silky. Remember this is a very young wine. It has enough structure to age for a long time if you don't like drinking really good wine this decade. A very consistent winery and a great wine.
