Never disappoints. Actually smelled a lot like a slightly less smoked bacon version of the 82 Jamet in the beginning but really developed further as the evening progressed. Just a wonderful experience with this wine.

A lovely nose, perfumed with spiced black fruit. It opens with intriguing softness, then surges forth with a sweet, yet charmingly balanced acidity. The spice emerges again, elegant and fleshy at the mid palate, some notes of undergrowth, modest tannins, some tangy acidity that is evident and which then harmonizes as this exuberant wine rallies its resources for a vibrant, sweet finish that is attractively fleshy as well as intriguingly deep.
