This, however, is an excellent bottle, a little herbal from the vintage but clean and with a good backbone of acidity, citrus, and nice complexity. Not the level of 85/86, but happily a solid white Burg.

Pale Gold with great clarity. Honeyed notes with mineral and a hint of dairy. Fully developed mature flavours and texture. Palate is medium dry, citrus and mineral with M- acidity. Good drinking now and for a few more years but don't think that extended cellaring would be beneficial.
