The other evening we opened the 2019 Bergström Gregory Ranch Pinot Noir Yamhill-Carlton AVA. From Newberg, Oregon. On the nose is strawberry, cherry, raspberry, cranberry, spice, rose petal, barnyard, matchbox and earth. On the palate there is strawberry, cherry, raspberry, cranberry, spice, mushroom and earth. This wine is medium to full bodied with a smooth bright mouthfeel medium + acidity and medium fine polished tannins that leaves you with a long red fruit forest floor finish. This is a seriously good wine. I hope everyone's holiday weekend has been one good with lots of sharing and happiness with family and friends. Stay safe and healthy the rest of the weekend.
