Poor beautiful wine... found abandoned, unloved, and unconsumed!! Neither stored nor cared for properly (by the original owner) which is tragic. It makes me sad to know this little piece of history was never enjoyed. I gently opened it and crossed all my fingers and toes that it was still hanging on, but no such luck. It was like trying to eat burnt saddle leather out of a dilthy ashtray filled with dirty dish water :( Definitely worth a try and not the wines fault!

1961 Beaulieu George de Latour Private Reserve. Soft, some sweetness/light caramel, still amazing focus and freshness. Absolutely lovely.
