Initially harsh and tannic, transformed after 45 mins to beautifully delineated, layers of tobacco, tart cherry and asian spice. Black tea. Lots of old oak. Aromatics a bit disappointing for a BdM this aged. Medium bodied and very ready, wouldn't hold much longer.
