This is infanticide I know to be drinking 2010 from magnum but it sure was great! This wine is all I could ask of young CdP. Inky dark purple with bright meniscus, nose of baked blackberries, cassis, blackberry tea, touches of earth, smoke, tar and a big whiff of black pepper. Mouth coating on the palate, weighty, super fine tannins with pleasant grip, gobs and gobs of dark fruit and like in all the great vintages, sufficient acid. I can barely remember a finer CdP. Perhaps the 1998.
