Pretty smooth, chocolate flavors, but the tannins have quite a bite. At that price, I'd expect slightly better. Still, it's a good wine. Maybe a year or two on the shelve will help.

Blackberries, black currant, and cherry. More overripe & jammy fruit then I'd like. Surprising amount of black pepper from start to finish. Noticeable heat at 14.5% will lower my rating.
