Displaying a medium to deep garnet-purple color, it comes prancing out of the glass with opulent scents of baked plums, kirsch, raspberry pie and dried mulberries with hints of fruitcake, prunes, hoisin and spice box. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is coated with spicy red and black fruit preserves plus a lively backbone and chewy tannins, finishing savory." Tasting Notes: Deep and dark in color, the Vineyard 29 Aida Estate Zinfandel possesses expressive aromas of white flowers, lifted raspberry preserves and brambly blackberry that are complimented by hints of white pepper and mountain sage. Upon entry, the blue and black fruits are accompanied by warm baking spices and intense earth and tobacco tones. Full-bodied throughout, this food friendly Zinfandel maintains its freshness and structure with mouth watering acidity and long, chewy, supple tannins on the finish.
