Umberto Bortolotti Extra Dry Valdobbiadene Prosecco NV

$19

A wonderful Prosecco. A light, crisp version with loads of fruit from Italy's Veneto region. The Bortolotti family has carefully selected a group of viticulturists within the Valdobbiadene appellation over the years, so that only grapes of the highest quality are vinified - all farmers practice organic methods of viticulture.  Cantine Umberto Bortolotti was established in 1947 by Umberto Bortolotti who had a real passion for Prosecco; together with a group of friends he founded the “Consorzio di Tutela del Prosecco” (Consortium for the safeguarding of Prosecco), the Prosecco brotherhood and he also set up the National Fair of sparkling wines in 1963.  100% of the wines is made with the Charmat method.

Solid Prosecco, just a tad on the creamy side but with a sharp balance of acidity.
