Twomey's small-production Pinot Noir from the folks at Silver Oak is now available in limited quantities. From two outstanding Anderson Valley vineyards, the estate-owned Monument Tree Vineyard and the Ferrington Vineyard, here's a lovely expression of Anderson Valley Pinot Noir from the makers of Silver Oak. Aged 13 months in barrel, with 11 months of those spent on primary lees in 100% French Oak (31% new). This wine was made with 24% whole cluster. The Twomey Anderson Valley Pinot Noir was sourced from the sustainably farmed Ferrington Vineyard in Boonville and the organically farmed Savoy Vineyard in Philo and Monument Tree Vineyard in Navarro. We began making wine from Monument Tree in 2007 and have been so impressed with the quality of the fruit that we purchased the vineyard in 2010, recognizing that it had become the crown jewel of our Anderson Valley bottling.
