This is a new label from Napa Valley producer Vinoce Cellars, know for their $60 Cabernets so this wine has fantastic pedigree! Sourced from Diamond Mountain and Howell Mountain in Napa Valley. Chosen #1 by Food & Wine Magazine Tasting Notes: Beautiful color with penetrating aromas that begin with a presence of black currant, graphite, hints of earth and undertones of espresso. Bright yet plush, with black cherry, blackberry, currant, licorice, chocolate and smoke flavors, all neatly layered for complexity. Firm, solid tannins provide good structure, weight and a great mid-palate grip. Long finish rounds out this wine.

A nose of vanilla, blueberries, and plums. Legs like a pretty lady, with a nice body. A good bit of fruit on the palate, with cherries and blackberries leading the way. Pepper, oak, and more vanilla round it out. A pretty typical "Napa Cab" with all that goes with that. No superstar, but a nice supporting character.

"Odedi" 
It's Friday evening, and it's time to open a nice Napa Cab. Dark inky in color with a red rim. On the nose, oak, vanilla, licorice, plums, blackberries, blueberries, cherries, spices and smoke. Medium to full bodied with great legs and some alcohol on the mid palate. Fruity on the palate with blackberries, blueberries, plums, cherries, oak, chocolate, vanilla, licorice, earth, spices and black pepper. Medium finish with chewy tannins and black pepper. A Nice Napa Cabernet. Very enjoyable. I paired it with filet mignon, which was perfect with those big tannins. 13.5% alcohol by volume.
