Very limited Turley Zinfandel. 95 Points Robert Parker: "From Alexander Valley, a source that Turley has been using almost since the inception of the winery, comes the 2014 Zinfandel Vineyard 101 (15.4% alcohol). This is always a big-time winner in the Turley portfolio, but sadly, the production is tiny from this 2.5-acre parcel planted in the 1920s. The 2014 is dense ruby/purple and gloriously rich in fruit, with briary blackberry, strawberry, earth, spice and more floral notes. This full-bodied stunner is multidimensional and best drunk over the next 5-7 years... ...All told there are seven Zinfandels from Napa Valley, ranging from Atlas Peak in the south, to Howell Mountain in mid-valley, to the estate vineyard just north of St. Helena. As one might expect, all of these are remarkable Zinfandels."

Light floral and earth driven aromas. Dark red fruit attack with soft mid palate followed by briny, but impressive crescendo. Good overall length.
