Turley The White Coat California Grenache Blanc Blend 2015
Rare Turley White Wine. A blend of 35% roussanne, 45% grenache blanc and 20% vermentino. Highly aromatic nose combines stone fruits, honey, wild herbs and minerals. Supple, fresh and surprisingly dry, showing very good energy to the stone fruit, floral and honey flavors. Finishes with a satisfying phenolic edge. Very distinctive.

Fun comparison to the Carlisle Derivative if only because of them being fun whites from venerable Zin/heavy red houses. This one leans more into oak and oiliness, with significant roundness in the mouthfeel.
