96+ Points - Limited                                                Rare Turley Petite Syrah from the Pesenti Vineyard - Very limited  94+ Points Robert Parker: "The 2014 Petite Syrah Pesenti Vineyard (from those white limestone soils) is quite an elixir if you love this grape. Super-blue/black in color, it has hints of crushed rock, spring flowers, blueberry and blackberry liqueur, a full-bodied mouthfeel, and enormous extract and colossal richness. This wine needs to be forgotten for another 5-7 years and drunk over the following three decades." (2016)

Youthful and full of power. Better the next day but really good

Stole a glass via Coravin and this one does not seem ready. Definitely getting the blue fruit flavors but little glycerin and hot taste that needs to air out. Huge wine. Will try again down the road

Luscious Petite Syrah from Turley Pesenti Vineyards. Inky black/purple, with and mouthful of blueberry and floral notes. Long generous blackberry and fig finish. Buy it if you can find it. Should store well for many years.

Inky like a frightened cuttlefish, tobacco, black cherry (though not powerfully fruity), slight salinity,, dry.

Crowd-pleasingly jammy. Lots of red fruit and really smooth, but a bit one-note for me
