94 Points Parker Very limited Turley Zinfandel. previous vintage 94 Points Robert Parker: "The 2014 Zinfandel Mead Ranch from the red volcanic soils of Atlas Peak exhibits loads of briary berry fruit, plenty of loamy underlying earthiness and forest floor, spice, pepper and fruitcake notes. It is a big, spicy, rich and complex, and no shy wine at 15.9% alcohol. Drink it over the next 7-8 years. By Turley’s standards, these are relatively young vines – planted in the 1970s!"

Ruby red, medium bodied, fresh, good acid, sweet--not jammy--bright red fruit. Very young but delicious now.

Big fruit. Smooth. Little earthy and wood on aftertaste. Bit overpriced

Thanksgiving 2018 Could probably sit for another 1-2 yrs & still project primary, bright Zinfandel nuances. Raspberry, dark plum, blueberry. Well integrated oak & sufficient acid. A little air & slight chill is suggested. Alcohol not pronounced on this evening.
