Rare cabernet from Turley New Cabernet release from Turley! Limited. New vintage of the Turley Cabernet! The wine has pure, ripe, deeply red Napa Cabernet fruit, rounded out by the savory herbs and garrigue that are the marks of the Estate vineyards. Medium-bodied, with great structure and a solid backbone, which will allow it to age for some time (if you must). However, with its inviting texture and supple, well-integrated tannins, the wine is exceedingly approachable in its youth. 94 Points Antonio Gallloni (Vinous): "The Cabernet Sauvignon Turley Estate is the most accessible of the Turley Cabernets. It shows all the raciness that is such a signature of the wines from St. Helena's Northern Corridor, with terrific presence, aromatic lift and balance. Expressive floral and red-toned fruit accents reappear on the finish. The 2019 should drink well with just a few years in bottle." The Estate Cabernet Sauvignon was planted back in 1989 and upon beds of volcanic and alluvial soils, on the eastern border of Turley Estate in Napa. Turley Estate is located in northern Napa and certified organic. The fruit is harvested at preferred ripeness before fermented with natural yeast. The wine is then aged in 100% French oak, of which just under a half is new, for 18 months.
