Very limited Turley Zinfandel. 93 Robert Parker: "From Paso Robles, the 2014 Zinfandel Dusi Vineyard (planted in 1945) is the more potent of the Turley 2014s, coming in at a lofty 16% alcohol. It is not overripe, not Amarone-like, or showing any heat. This wine has plenty of blackcurrant and black cherry fruit, licorice, and roasted herbs that are reminiscent of Mediterranean-styled wine, with a full-bodied mouthfeel and a heady, lush finish. This is impressive, but clearly one of the bigger-boned, larger-scaled Zinfandels in the 2014 portfolio. Drink it over the next decade."

Pairing on Thanksgiving is a fool’s errand. Went with a crowd pleaser.
