New release! The inaigural vintage of Prisoner Pinot Noir has arrived! From the most recognized Napa Valley red blend comes a bold, new wine. Made in the same iconic style as The Prisoner Red Blend, we proudly introduce The Prisoner Pinot Noir. Blended for taste. Unrestricted by tradition. The Prisoner Pinot Noir is a mix of Russian River and Carneros AVAs produces this classic Sonoma Coast PN with notes of strawberry jam,cinnamon spice, cherry, and dried herbs. Russian River contributes dark cherry and savory notes along with suppletannins. Sonoma Carneros contributes elegance and a silky, lengthy mouthfeel. Barrel aging caps.

On the palate flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry with underlying crispness, adding in some citrus, vanilla and spice. Fine tannins, long finish, well balanced complex ending. Very Nice!

Bold Pinot, not like a red burgundy. 14.5% abv. Dried black cherry, plum, blackberry, vanilla oak, black pepper, tannic spiced finish with some sweetness. Gets smoother with 3+ hours air. Quite nice, but not as bright as I was expecting.

Medium bodied Pinot with distinct cherry notes and slightly acidic. More acidic than most Pinots, which I appreciated. Paired with a Tuscan Style Pork Loin that was excellent.
