The Prisoner Wine Company Dérangé Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2017

$89.99

Limited new release                                                 Inaugural Release of Derange Red Blend from Prisoner Wine Co. Extremely Limited. A new red blend from the folks behind the popular Prisoner wine. This rich, peddle-to-the-metal red explodes with a melange of dark berry, chocolate, and brown sugar aromas. The super lush palate packs quite a wallop with more of the same berry flavors. If you're a fan of The Prisoner, consider this its big brother. Derange Red is a new wine from Dave Phinney's Prisoner Wine Group. An amazing blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Merlot, Syrah, Petite Sirah.   Rich and enticing aromas of blackberry, vanilla bean, baking spices, dark chocolate, and caramel. The palate is overly luscious and giving with notesof dark cherry and blueberry leading to an opulent, velvety finish.

Cranberry, pepper, berry, soft finish. Not Oakey and more fruit forward. Drinks like a Zin but delicious

Unabashedly opulent and powerful, this cab leading blend is also quite refined. Perfectly ripen dark fruits scented with toasty oaks, black pepper, and violet. Rich, sophisticated, and layered on the palate with a soft touch. Supple tannins reasserted its authority at the end of long finish. Yet another very impressive bottling from the Prisoner.
