New release of Sassicaia, the greatest Super-Tuscan from Italy.  Limited. Sassicaia is the most iconic wine made in Italy today.  It is the most collected Italian wine in the world and arguably could be the most famous wine in your cellar. This is the wine that all other Super Tuscans are based on and compared to and that made Bolgheri, on the coast of Tuscany, one of the most famous wine regions in the world today.  Sassicaia 2011, a blend of cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc, comes from the region's best vintage in years.  Perhaps Italy's greatest wine, order the classic new vintage while we have it available. 100 Points Decanter: "Sassicaia 2019 spent 25 months in oak (one-third new). ‘We are going longer in oak in the past few years,’ said Carlo Paoli, managing director of Tenuta San Guido.
