T-Vine's new Syrah from the tiny Frediani Vineyard always sells out in a heartbeat. If you have not yet discovered this small-production Napa Winery this is the wine to convert you. T-Vine Syrah is typically over the top in terms of color, depth and flavor. The 2012 is no exception. You can expect notes of black currant, blackberry and plum, with sweet wood and vanilla in this jammy velvety smooth Syrah. "In the ultra premium category of wine, the most significant development in 2003 was the widening of the "chic-boutique" niche. The established Napa cult wineries based on cabernet of Screaming Eagle, Harlan, Colgin and others were joined by newcomers named T-Vine, Hundred Acre and two dozen more..." Dan Berger, wine columnist.

A hidden gem not seen that often on delectable. This Syrah is dominated by blueberries and pepper. Nice balance with a easy acid taste. Alcohol is also well balanced that no single element stands out. This wine finishes nicely that keeps asking you for more.

Deep berry, cherry nose. Hint of dark chocolate. Velvet smooth finish. Beautiful with food or a stand alone. Would be spectacular with complex cheese

Discovered this winery while visiting Calistoga area. This wine is indicative of why I chose to join the wine club. Beautiful dark, black red. Smooth. Drinkable red.
