Stuhlmuller Vineyards Reserve Estate Alexander Valley Chardonnay 2017

93+ points Parker                          A fantastic small-production Chardonnay!   Try it while it's still available. 93 + Points Robert Parker: "The Chardonnay Reserve offers up notes of white grapefruit, lemon tart and white peaches with hints of struck match, baking bread and crushed stones. Medium-bodied with a gorgeous, silken texture and lively backbone cutting through the densely-packed citrus and savory layers, it finishes long and minerally." Stuhlmuller Vineyards is located at the southern edge of the Alexander Valley, where it converges with two other highly regarded Sonoma County appellations, Chalk Hill and the Russian River Valley. A great new small-production discovery for us, we highly recommend this Chardonnay.   A lovely golden-green color leads to warm, inviting aromatics of yellow pear, buttered peach, oatmeal and honeysuckle. On the palate, it offers a smooth, creamy texture, with rich layers of lemon custard, Asian pear, honey and hazelnut. This is a classically structured California Chardonnay with beautiful ripe fruit and well-integrated oak.
