Staglin Family Vineyard Salus Estate Napa Valley Chardonnay 2013

$49

Fantastic new Napa Chardonnay made exclusively from grapes selected from the Staglin Family Rutherford estate. Limited This Staglin 2013 SALUS Chardonnay Napa Valley displays a beautiful golden color with a green hue and reveals a bouquet of ripened Golden Delicious apple, spiced Asian pear and fresh fig complimented by a touch of beeswax. This well-balanced wine is medium bodied and expresses flavors of Candied citrus and William pear leading to a zesty finish. Enjoy this wine for the coming two to three years! Kudos to winemaker Luc Morlet, former winemaker for Peter Michael.

Peach blossom and wet stone. Pear, pineapple and cream. Nice viscosity. Nice creamy finish. Touch of acid pokes through at the end.
