Very limited. 94 Points Robert Parker: "Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate has a very pretty nose of fragrant earth, red and black currants, black plums and underbrush with hints of cigar box and pencil lead. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the mouth with expressive earth and black fruit flavors, supported by a seamless backbone of ripe tannins and great freshness, finishing long." Winemaker Fredrik Johansson has done a fabulous job with these new releases. The Staglin wines are of note this year and point to an estate that may finally be finding a consistently high level."

Gorgeous showing for Dad’s bday. Harmonious fruit, oak, acid and alc. Showing Staglin terroir, finessed and elegant with supple mid-palate, length, and classic sweet sage background note. Lovely ripe black plum, currant, and berry, warm spice, violets, gravel, sage, tobacco and camphor. Tannins are showing early integration and charm.

2014 vintage. Go back with Staglin to the beginning. Have usually found it (both to their credit and detriment) slightly too acidic and lean without truly embracing one or the other. Distinctive style and it obviously works for them and theirs. Rauzan-Segla from Margaux does it better for the same pricing.
