Complex and rich Pinot with great flavors. This wine is an awesome value." The 2016 vintage of the Sojourn Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir showcases a number of exceptional coastal vineyards. These vineyards span the whole breadth of Sonoma County, from the southern Petaluma Gap to northern Annapolis. Pinot noir from Sangiacomo and Rodgers Creek vineyards provide familiar lush textures and concentrated flavors. Campbell Ranch adds highlighted fruit characters. Riddle and Wohler vineyards add big ripe berry fruits and richness to this complex Pinot noir. The vintage shows bright aromas of crushed berries and dark cherries with notes of earth and forest floor, leading to lush textures and a long finish. A respected wine critic said it best "...a testament to the fact that an appellation blend in the hands of the right winemaker can be as good or better than a vineyard designate." This wine is a tremendous value at $39!
