A fantastic new Pinot Noir label from - get on the bandwagon now! 94 Points Pinot Report: "Medium-deep ruby color; bright spice and complex dark cherry aromas; complex dark cherry flavors with spice and loamy notes; silky texture; great structure and balance; long finish. Complex and rich Pinot with great flavors. This wine is an awesome value."The 2014 vintage of the Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir showcases a number of exceptional coastal vineyards. These vineyards span the whole breadth of Sonoma County, from the southern Petaluma Gap to northern Annapolis. Pinot noir from Sangiacomo and Rodgers Creek vineyards provide familiar lush textures and concentrated flavors. Campbell Ranch adds highlighted fruit characters. Riddle and Wohler vineyards add big ripe berry fruits and richness to this complex Pinot noir. The 2014 vintage shows bright aromas of crushed berries and dark cherries with notes of earth and forest floor, leading to lush textures and a long finish. A respected wine critic said it best "...a testament to the fact that an appellation blend in the hands of the right winemaker can be as good or better than a vineyard designate." This wine is a tremendous value at $39!

Tasted Sojourn's '14 Pinots and immediately contacted the winery and begged for their entire lineup. For Pinot lovers, I cannot rave enough about this Sonoma Coast at only $39 (every Pinot drinker should have a couple cases at their house), all the way to the Gap's Crown, which is an amazing bottle for $59

The nose hints at sweet cherry jam, But the palate is both Bing and maraschino. A little pleasant pine in the aftertaste, which isn't quite long enough. Solid effort though.

This was excellent.. Gorgeous fruit core, and seemless layering of tannins & complexities, deep lush fruit including blackberry jam and dark cherries, clove and nutmeg spices, and such an inviting nose. The finish is impactful and everlasting, definitely a Cab lover's Pinot and fantastic with foods. It's not often I find a wine, let alone a Pinot, that I could drink often, but I could definitely make some room in my collection for this guy. Drinking now, but will most definitely develope over the next 5 or 10 years. Bravo Sojourn! #sojourn

Young and bit aggressive, but you can tell that this will soften in a few years. The fruit is very evident but not overwhelmingly sweet. I think it will ease. This is a young wine in a great vintage. Oh, Baxter is fired up for a Friday.

Easy sipping 2014 Sonoma Coast Pinot from one of my favorite producers. Medium-bodied with bright red and blue fruits and a nice finish. Nice now, probably better in a year or so.

Sweet candied nose with licorice, bright raspberry and cherry aromas. Round and supple mouth feel with tart acidity on the finish. I love it when you get wines like this as a gift!!
