95 Points This is a fantastic new Cabernet From Signarello Estate. Just about every wine they make turns our head – and they do it quietly – but now even the critics are catching on. Hands down, this is one of the smartest buys in Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Signorello’s rocky soils, combined with the cooling influences of the bay, always mean that this will be a rich, ripe, supple Cab with a measure of grace, and a long life ahead of it. 95 Points Decanter Magazine: "Signorello makes ripe, sumptuous wines, starting with this estate Cabernet sourced from younger vines and aged in 85% new French oak. Perfumes of cherry and cassis emerge from the glass and flow onto the rich palate. These evolve and adapt into bright black fruit flavours that are heavily concentrated and give it a generous finish." 94 Points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "Signorello's 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate has really clamped down since I tasted it last year. Pomegranate, blood orange, crème de cassis, red cherry jam, lavender, rose petal and mint give the wine much of its distinct, exotic personality. The firm tannins need time to soften, but this is an impressive effort, that is for sure. The aromatic and flavor intensity here is superb.
