98 Points                                                                                     Limited new Cabernet from cult producer Seven Stones.  98 Points Jeb Dunnuck:  "Coming from the talents of Aaron Pott, the Seven Stones 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon (90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc) offers a full-bodied, concentrated, yet light on its feet style with a great perfume of darker berry and currant fruit as well as ample violets, flowers, and a sense of gravelly earth-like minerality. From vines near Meadowood and aged 22 months in new French oak, this rich, layered, age-worthy wine has nicely integrated oak, moderate acidity, and outstanding length. It should keep for 20+ years." 97 Points Robert Parker: "The Seven Stones 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is composed of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple colored, it offers up baked plums, warm cassis and blackberry pie with hints of dried herbs, tar and underbrush plus a waft of cloves. Medium to full-bodied with firm, grainy tannins, this is seamless, with a good core of earthy fruit and a long and savory finish. 435 cases were made."
